Our Ministries
On Sundays children meet together at 9:30 am for Kidz Konnections in age-appropriate groups to learn about our great God and His Word, under the guidance of caring, knowledgeable facilitators.
On Wednesday evenings, kids enjoy participating in Patch the Pirate Club. This is a unique children’s choir program emphasizing godly character lessons through songs, stories, Bible lessons, Scripture memory, and daily devotions. Patch the Pirate Club provides opportunities for our kids to grow spiritually and build character, while also developing musically and having fun! Our younger sailors, age three – First Grade, are in the PeeWee Club, while grades Two – Six are in the Patch Club. Join our crew for some great character-building fun!
Patch the Pirate Clubs is the result of the ministry of Ron Hamilton. See his story here.
Patch the Pirate music and stories can be purchased from Majesty Music.
- They help us connect with God through His Word and expand our understanding of Biblical truth.
- They help us connect with each other, desiring to grow as individuals and groups to be more like Christ.
Grace has been blessed with several interpreters for the deaf. Interpretation is available for all services, and a special Connections Group is designed just for deaf members and visitors.
Grace offers its ladies many specific opportunities for blessing, encouragement, and service. These include:
- Bible Study – Alternate Tuesday mornings during the school year
- Prayer Partners – ministry of prayer and encouragement that helps us get to know one another better
- Tender Loving Care – providing meals for those bereaved or home from the hospital
- Ladies Night Out – occasional times of eating out together following the Sunday night service
- Ladies Conference – annual regional conference rotating between Panama City, Pensacola, and Mobile
- Mother-Daughter Luncheon – a special time for all ladies
- Missionary Projects – designated evenings set aside for ministry to minister to our missionaries
- Ladies Prayer Group – Alternate Tuesday mornings
- Bible Studies – weekly classes taught at three locations
One of Grace’s greater emphases is our missions program. Our people have a special attachment to our missionaries and maintain close contact with many of them. Our love of missions is evidenced by our strong Faith Promise Giving.

God has ordained music as an important part of worship. Therefore, we desire it to be a vital and important part of our services. Our worship is conservative and traditional in style, but fresh and vibrant in spirit. We use a hymnal, along with another complimentary song book, encouraging God’s people to lift their voices in harmonious praise to the Lord. Those who play keyboard or orchestral instruments are invited to participate in our Church Orchestra or share their talents in special music and offertories. Because we prefer to develop our own musicians, we don’t use pre-recorded accompaniments. We also have a four octave Tone Chime Choir comprised of teens and adults. They, along with our Sanctuary Choir, practice diligently each week to prepare offerings of praise to the Lord.
Clean, attractive facilities staffed by caring, experienced workers are provided near the main auditorium for both infants and toddlers. A notification system is in place to contact parents during the service if a problem should arise.
Silver Saints 55+ is an active ministry of members and visitors ages 55 and above. Even though these busy folks have monthly meetings – themed covered dish luncheons, day trips and occasional overnighters, varied outreach ministries which include the Pregnancy Resource Center and assistance in the delivery of several missionary prayer letters – their greatest asset is the closeness of their fellowship and concern for one another that is seen in everyday contact.
Our teen program, “Next Generation” is a year round program that varies based on the time of year. The philosophy of our program is to be Bible dictated, family dedicated and people directed (meaning that the program adjusts to the group’s current spiritual makeup). A key feature of our program is our small groups called “Prayer/Share.” The youth staff meet regularly throughout the year with smaller groups to help mentor on a more individual basis.
Our Conference Room has a lending library filled with a variety of books for all ages. There are character building books for ages two through pre-adult, fiction for women, Bible commentaries, Bible study books, Christian growth, home and family, music, missionary biographies plus a number of other categories. A selection of DVD’s is also available for check out. There is a small selection of Bibles, books and music for purchase. The Conference Room is located in the office/nursery wing of the main building.
